Tasked to ideate, design and create 3D Game Scene based on the ledgends and myths of old..
Students needed to produce 2 Characters, 2 Sidekicks/ Mounts [one for each character] and the environment that they engage in battle in. All assets are to be textured and modeled from scratch.
Our project was a Futuristic Scifi take on the chinese classic Water Margin. Where Li Kui funds himself in a futuristic world of Water Margin, in the process of trying to assimilate himself into this new sci-fi world, he decides to prevent future tragadies by killing Song Jiang, the leader of the rebels. follow him on his journey as he attempts to lead the rebels into a better future.
Our scene was that of Hua Rong, a member of the rebels, and Li Kui fighting on a river marketplace after Hua rong confronts Li Kui about the murder of Song Jiang. Resulting in an escalation of conflict, leading to a fight.
My Contribution: Did the concept designs for Both the environment, main characters and their respective weapons. I modeled Hua Rong and about 60% of his mount. For textures, I textured Hua Rong's horse, both weapons and a bit of the environment. I also did the final 2D art of both the mounts. Furthermore, as the Group Leader, I kept everyone on task and helped out wherever needed.
