Tasked to ideate and design a 2D Microplatformer Game prototype
Students needed to produce a trailer video, Game poster on top of creating the card game. The game need to include 5 levels, 5 characters and at least 5 props [one level and prop for each member].
Our project was a Apocalyptic Japanese Yokai themed game set in Edo Era Japan. Where players play as the main character Hirata as he awakes in an empty house in post-apocalytic Edo Japan. Follow him on his journey as he attempts to find his missing family while fighting the Yokai-Infects while battling the virus-like curse, Kaminoikari.
My Contribution: Designed, conceptualised and created the art assets of my own level, 2 props and boss monster [character]. I also helped out with the making of the 2D assets for the character showcase and cutscenes. Furthermore, as the team Leader, I allocated tasked and kept everyone on track.
